Hey there beautiful people. I hope you are having a wonderful day. A couple weekends ago the 4 of use put together 2 little fairy gardens. This was such a fun little family project. I got the idea from a book my friend had called Fairy Garden Handbook by Liza Gardner Walsh. It is a great book that talks about gardening, sun, soil, food, water and tools for the fairy garden as well as what types of fairy gardens you can create and how to care for it. The kids loved this and had a lesson in gardening as well.
We already had the containers we wanted to put them in as well as the soil we needed, so we went to a nursery here on the island and picked out some herbs and decorations for our fairy gardens. The kids helped Justin put it all together while I of course took pictures.
We will continue to add to the garden here and there, and of course give it lots of love in hopes that we will have fairies come stay in our gardens. The kids have been checking for signs of the fairy being there. I think there will be sighs soon…
Have you done a fairy garden with you little ones before? Is this something you would want to do?Please share with me.
