For my health is the whole reason I turned down this path. No one can argue the fact that we need more fruits and veggies in our life, and well I made that a top priority for me and my family. You are not depriving yourself when eliminating animal products and other packaged junk, you are Thriving. A plant based diet is the optimal diet for humans. We are made to eat plants. I do it for my health so that I feel the best I can for myself and for my family. As a parent we are all busy with the demands of day to day responsibilities, and I don’t have the time to not feel well, so I take the time to fuel my body with optimal nutrition.
Lastly, I do it so I can be a good example for my children. I want them to know what is healthy and what is not. I want them to know what is food and what is not. I want them to know what will make them feel well, and what will not. I can not teach them this if I am not a living example.
With this blog I hope to inspire those busy Moms and Dads out there that a plant based diet is doable. It is easy, inexpensive, and does not have to take a lot of your time. Even if you don’t go Vegan like me adding more plants to your diet will only benefit you in all aspects of life. On this blog I will be sharing all the plant based recipes that my family and I love.
