Good Morning beautiful people. Today I wanted to share with you my chia parfait recipe. Oh my gosh, I have been loving chia parfaits lately. They are so versatile you really can make them with what ever you like.
Chia seed are a good source of omega 3 fatty acids, fiber, amino acids(protein), antioxidants and calcium. There are tons of recepies out there for it so go check them out, but here is the basic recipe for chia pudding and you can add what you want to make it a parfait.
This is great for on the go. Make ahead if you are going to be away on the weekend and don’t want to buy out.
- 1/4 cup nut milk
- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/4 cup berries
- 1/4 granola
- Mix milk, chia and maple syrup in a mason jar, put lid on and shake. Place in fridge for 30 minutes, or overnight if you want. When you are ready to eat add berries and granola and enjoy!
